Introduction to Zach Burns
My name is Zachary Burns and I am a Roman Catholic who attends St. Laurence Catholic Church. For school, I attend Strake Jesuit College Preparatory and take a theology class called "Saints from Sinners". Out of all my theology classes I have taken during my time at Jesuit, this is the class I enjoy the most because I am able to learn in a way I have not been able to in other theology classes. My biggest insight so far has been that the path towards God is not always straight and narrow, but the path is filled with ups and downs, and bumps and curves. For example, I think the biggest obstacle in the path towards God is modern culture saying to us that God should not influence how we live our lives and that God should stay only in churches. Rejecting this notion and putting God first in my life and showing His love is what I hope to be the biggest grace in my life. Hopefully, after returning from the pilgrimage with my fellow brothers in Christ, God will grant me the grace to change my life so I can put Him first more.
I am very proud of you and Thank you for calling every day to check in and for wishing me a Happy European Mother's Day!
